- 04/19/08: Algis Kemezys announced a new untitled documentary. It will be Guthrie's third time working with Algis.

- 04/18/08: Tres Caminos will be debuting in San Salvador, El Salvador on May 9, 2008.

- 04/01/08: Guthrie has been confirmed as featured composer for the movie Krampus.

- 02/01/08: Guthrie composed music for the current issue of the Mad Hatter's Review, a website for poetry.

Guthrie Lowe, a member of BMI, has 22 years experience as a professional and recording musician, both touring afar and locally in Northern California. He has worked in live sound reinforcement as an assistant with Xcentrix (promotional group, 1987-1988), and as soundman at Los Caporales nightclub (1997). In 2005, Guthrie began delving into orchestral score work for TV and film, working on several small projects including music and sound effects for theatrical haunted houses, and arranging and producing a Christmas Cd featuring the vocal talents of Denise Elia. He continues to score feature length indie films and documentaries currently being screened in a variety of international and domestic festivals. As a result, Guthrie has received interest in his music worldwide. Although able to work in a variety of styles including electronica and ambience, his strength lies in orchestral composition, using melody and tension to enhance the mood and tone on screen without being obtrusive. Guthrie looks forward to collaborating with more directors and producers in the future.
